Each year, Modern Healthcare’s Trustee of the Year award program honors trustees who have made extraordinary contributions to health care governance and their communities. Witt/Kieffer has proudly sponsored this awards program for nine consecutive years. The 2011 award program includes four categories: large hospitals (100+ beds), small hospitals (less than 100 beds), not-for-profit healthcare systems and for-profit healthcare companies.
The winners of this year’s awards have faced challenges of all kinds, from restoring order to the board’s work to tackling multi-million dollar fundraising campaigns.
