Today’s new and challenging healthcare environment makes a compelling case for adding out-of-community trustees to the board. Forward-thinking organizations are carefully evaluating board member succession and recruitment. The right blend of skills and expertise can be hard to find, and often requires thinking outside of the organization’s community.
