Witt/Kieffer Announces Promotions Across Practices and Regions

Oak Brook, IL, August 10, 2015 – Witt/Kieffer, a leading executive search firm, today announces six promotions across all regions in its expanding search practices.

The six promotions are:

•    April Allen, based in Louisville, KY, is now a Senior Associate with WK Advisors, a division of Witt/Kieffer that identifies top leaders for hospitals, health systems, managed care organizations, insurance companies and other health-related organizations. Prior to joining WK Advisors in 2012, April spent five years successfully placing executives in management and executive positions for various healthcare sectors. She holds a B.A. in Government from Centre College in Danville, KY.

•    Amy Crutchfield, based in Oak Brook, IL, is now a Consultant in the firm’s Education practice. Amy joined Witt/Kieffer in 2005 and during her tenure, has worked across the firm’s practices with a specialization in higher education executive search, supporting engagements for national research universities, comprehensive and liberal arts colleges.  With expertise in enrollment management search, Amy has a great depth of understanding of the critical need for strong enrollment leadership in the current higher education landscape, has developed a robust network of potential candidates, and is known to enrollment leaders nationally. Amy earned a B.A. in French from North Central College in Naperville, IL.

•    Michael R. Raddatz, Jr., M.B.A., based in Oak Brook, IL, is now a Senior Associate in the firm’s Healthcare practice. Since joining Witt/Kieffer in 2006, Michael has participated in engagements in which he helped identify leaders for hospitals, health systems, medical schools, not-for-profits, and physician group practices. As Witt/Kieffer’s first national Information Technology Practice research analyst, he helped develop the firm’s strategy for identifying IT executives. He uses the skills he developed in the legal and research arena to creatively and successfully meet the needs of his clients. Michael earned his M.B.A in Operations Management from Aurora University in Aurora, IL, and holds a B.A. from University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, IL.

•    Hillary Ross, J.D., based in Chicago, IL, is now a Principal in the firm’s information technology practice and an experienced healthcare information technology executive search consultant. Specializing in the recruitment of physicians and other clinicians, Hillary conducts searches for Chief Medical Information Officers, biomedical informatics, analytics, research informatics, quality, personalized medicine and other senior level information technology positions. She critically focuses on identifying information technology leaders for hospitals, health care delivery systems, academic medical centers, vendors and consulting firms across the country. Prior to joining Witt/Kieffer in 2008, Hillary worked as an executive search consultant for a boutique IT search firm where she focused on the recruitment of IT physicians. She holds a J.D. from the Chicago-Kent College of Law at the Illinois Institute of Technology as well as a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

•    Mercedes Chacón Vance, based in Portland, ME, is now a Consultant in Witt/Kieffer’s Higher Education practice. She utilizes 15 years of education and not-for-profit executive search experience in her work identifying presidents, vice presidents and deans in colleges and universities on behalf of a broad spectrum of Witt/Kieffer Education clients. Prior to joining Witt/Kieffer in 2012, Mercedes worked in corporate retained search. It was her commitment to organizations that enhance diversity and quality of life that brought her back to education and not-for-profit executive search work. Mercedes earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester, NH.

•    Ann Yates, based in Minneapolis, MN, is now a Consultant in Witt/Kieffer’s Education practice where she supports nationwide searches for presidents, chancellors, provosts, and deans, as well as vice presidents for research, development/advancement, student affairs, academic affairs, and enrollment. Serving as an executive search consultant for 15 years, Ann’s previous clients include leading research universities and state institutions, top-tier liberal arts colleges, regional comprehensive universities, and various other institutions. Her broad understanding of education leadership allows her to maintain exceptional quality and close engagement with clients and candidates in all her work as she continues to identify leaders with the right institutional fit. Ann holds an M.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of New Haven in New Haven, CT and earned her B.S. in Psychology from Bethany College in Bethany, WV.
