Anna Wharton Phillips, senior vice president, has been a strategic advisor to trustees and search committees throughout her 30-year career in healthcare and executive search. Her role in identifying senior executives and physician leaders has long been the hallmark of her practice, having conducted more than 120 searches for presidents and CEOs. Anna counsels boards and executives on building visionary leadership teams for their organizations, which include community hospitals and health systems, health sciences and academic medical centers, associations and other not-for-profit organizations.

Since joining Witt/Kieffer in 1988, Anna has been integral to the growth of the firm including the development of specialized practices in academic medicine, faith-based health care and community service. She has served in a variety of firm leadership roles and has mentored a number of consultants now in the firm's leadership ranks. Anna currently serves on the Witt/Kieffer board of directors.
