Witt/Kieffer has been retained by The Red McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin, one of the largest and most distinguished business schools in the United States, to assist in the recruitment of a new Associate Dean and Director of Executive Education. This is an exciting time in the development of the executive education program at the McCombs School of Business, as they eagerly await the Fall 2008 opening of the new AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center. This facility will dramatically enhance and increase the capacity of executive education at McCombs. Additionally, a thoughtful and aspirational strategic plan for the McCombs School enjoys wide support and is being implemented with great success.
The McCombs School of Business is highly ranked for both its undergraduate and graduate programs. It enrolls more than 6,000 students in undergraduate, masters and doctoral levels. The renowned faculty has a record of scholarly productivity which ranks near the top in the country. The Associate Dean will provide leadership to degree and non-degree executive education programs at the flagship Austin campus and satellite campuses in Dallas, Houston and Mexico City. An area of great potential lies in the growth of custom programs for the many Fortune 1,000 corporations in Texas and beyond.
They seek an accomplished academic leader with a proven track record of success overseeing a comprehensive executive education program. An MBA or Ph.D. in a business field is required. Experience in the creation and implementation of custom designed executive education programs and the ability to make those programs a centerpiece of the new Conference Center will be highly valued. The Associate Dean will report directly to the Dean of the McCombs School of Business.
