The University of Tampa (UT) seeks an exceptional Vice President for Enrollment.

The University is experiencing a period of substantial improvement, enrollment growth, program development and capital campaign success. In the past decade the number of full-time faculty and staff has doubled, academic support and services have expanded and $210 million in construction was completed. The University benefits from the support of over 700 individuals involved in various advisory groups, including an excellent Board of Trustees, many community leaders and about 1,100 dedicated University and vendor contracted employees. Over the next decade the University expects to grow to 6,500 students, add additional faculty and staff and continue quality improvement efforts. The University's growing national reputation is evidenced by a "Top Tier" ranking in U.S. News & World Report and favorable ratings in a wide variety of other publications.

The University is a medium-size comprehensive residentially-based independent institution that delivers challenging and high quality educational experiences to diverse groups of learners. UT currently has 5,800 undergraduate and graduate students. Almost 90% of students are full-time; half come from Florida, and all 50 states and 100 countries are represented. The University is ideally situated on a 100-acre campus noted for its beauty next to the Hillsborough River and adjacent to Tampa's dynamic commercial and cultural district. UT has provided education, training and leadership skills to the Tampa Bay Community for 77 years and offers more than 120 programs of study. The University enjoys a reputation for teaching excellence and a strong international focus. The University's primary academic and administrative building is a national historic landmark and has long been recognized as the symbol of the city. Tampa offers a high quality of living in a growing and vibrant metropolitan area.

The Vice President for Enrollment will provide energetic leadership for the University's enrollment plans. This position reports to the President. Responsibilities are as follows:

• Provide leadership in and management of the enrollment, admissions, financial aid and registrar organization.
• Market the institution and rich educational experience.
• Help to further develop institutional reputation and refine branding.
• Achieve targeted enrollment goals for an enrollment sensitive institution.
• Assist with the University's efforts in retention.
• Develop, allocate and manage enrollment budgets.
• Advise the President on all enrollment and admissions affairs, be a key partner and work collegially with senior staff, faculty and others.
