Fordham University invites inquiries, nominations and applications for the position of Dean of the Graduate School of Business Administration (GBA). Located in the heart of New York City, the commercial capital of the world, Fordham GBA is uniquely positioned to offer students a rich educational experience and immediate access to top leaders in business. An accomplished and diverse faculty of over 180 world-class research scholars and industry experts teach more than 1400 students enrolled in full-time, part-time, executive and international executive MBA/MS programs around the world. The Executive MBA program is ranked one of the top in the world by The Wall Street Journal, and the Part-time MBA and Finance MBA are ranked in the top 30 nationally by U.S. News & World Report. The Part-time MBA is ranked fifth in the Northeast by Business Week.

The Dean will bring the intellect, talent and energy to build on Fordham's tradition of academic excellence, and will provide an environment for faculty and students to make a profound impact in the 21st century. The Dean will articulate a strategic vision for GBA, particularly in the international arena, will nurture a culture of faculty research, and will build the relationships that generate the financial resources to make this a reality. The ideal candidate will hold a Ph.D. or comparable degree, be tenurable in one of the academic areas of the school, and be familiar with and move comfortably in both the academic and corporate sectors. Whether coming out of a corporate or academic background, or a combination of the two, the candidate should have relevant leadership, management, and research experience as well as a substantial understanding of the culture and operation of higher education. Candidates should review the leadership statement for this position before preparing their materials.

Fordham is seeking an outstanding leader for this position, and compensation will be highly competitive. Recruitment will continue until the position is filled.
