Bowling Green State University (BGSU), founded in 1910, is seeking a new Vice President for University Advancement and President of the BGSU Foundation to join the celebration of its 100-year legacy of excellence and to lead the institution toward its future. This individual will be a senior university leader and close partner of President Carol Cartwright, who has provided outstanding leadership to BGSU.

Located in northwestern Ohio, BGSU is a major institution of higher learning, serving over 20,000 students on two campuses. Over 900 faculty and 1,400 staff members support a rich academic and extracurricular life, where students can draw from over 200 undergraduate majors, 17 doctoral programs, 61 masters degrees, and over 360 campus organizations. BGSU is a residential, primarily traditional-age institution at its main campus in Bowling Green and serves a more non-traditional population at its Firelands Campus. BGSU prides itself on providing major university opportunities in an educational environment that is small and connected like that of a small college.

BGSU is seeking an experienced development professional with the enthusiasm, leadership qualities, administrative experience and relationship building skills necessary to support the institution's aspirations by mobilizing and leading the advancement division to new levels of achievement. The VPUA oversees all development and alumni relations programs of the university as well as the endowment and financial operations of the foundation. This leader will play a key role in assisting President Cartwright in articulating BGSU's unique identity, developing an advancement plan to support the university's strategic plan, and planning for and executing BGSU's next campaign. A bachelor's degree is required.
