Our Approach to Search

  • A successful search is characterized by a flexible, organized process; an aggressive recruitment program; and a thoughtful public relations and transition plan. Because the needs of each search are unique, our approach is both consultative and adaptive. We enable search committees and decision makers to integrate these key elements into the process.

Assessment

  • During the pre-search phase, Witt/Kieffer helps a search committee and other constituents to plan the search. We collaborate with the search committee on developing a timeline and a series of milestones, and we engage the community in discussion and analysis of the institutional agenda for the future.

Search model and recruitment strategy

  • We support the search itself by working with clients on customizing the search process to meet their needs, honor institutional governance and ensure a successful outcome. We embrace open communication with the community to keep them apprised of the progress of search.

Post-search transition
