Catholic Health Services of Long Island (CHS) has retained Witt/Kieffer to assist in the recruitment of an Executive Vice President, Corporate Services. The Executive Vice President, Corporate Services, is one of four Executive Vice President Positions within CHS and will report directly to the system President and Chief Executive Office, James Harden. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented professional with a demonstrated track record of management in a multi-hospital system or large complex hospital environment to join a distinguished New York Region healthcare provider.
CHS is an integrated healthcare delivery system that includes some of the region's finest health and human service agencies. CHS has more than 15,000 employees and 2,700 medical professionals. The System was founded in 1997 to oversee the Diocese of Rockville Centre's Healthcare Organizations. CHS serves several hundred thousand Long Islanders annually and provides care that extends from the beginning of life to people's final years. CHS's facilities focus on delivering quality care and customer service for its community, patients and physicians. CHS strives to the set the standard for health services necessary to support the community. Based in Roslyn, Rockville Center, West Islip, Port Jefferson and other locations throughout Long Island, New York, CHS comprises St. Francis Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital, Mercy Medical Center, St. Charles Hospital, St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center, as well as numerous rehabilitation centers, nursing homes, home care facilities and hospices.
The Executive Vice President, Corporate Services at CHS will be a senior member of the leadership team and will have responsibility for Finance, Information Technology, and Performance Improvement/Quality for the System. The Executive Vice President, Corporate Services will participate in and guide the evaluation, planning, implementation, and operations of a broad range of initiatives, projects and programs which support and enhance the CHS mission and strategy. The Executive Vice President, Corporate Services will lead the development of the organizational and system-wide strategies and incorporate each member of the system into the planning process. CHS seeks a talented senior executive skilled at planning resource allocation, infrastructure support and enhancement of clinical capabilities. A Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field is required, along with an advanced degree in business administration, health care administration or other relevant field.
