Geisinger Health System (GHS) is a large, physician-led and driven, integrated delivery system. It is comprised of a 600-MD group, 225,000+ member health plan, two acute care hospitals, 55 practice sites and offers 23 training programs, including OB/GYN. The new Women's Pavilion is a comprehensive health center for women. It offers a full range of specialty services, including obstetrics, gynecology, maternal-fetal medicine, fertility, urogynecology, and gynecologic oncology. It includes a state-of-the-art maternity facility that accommodates over 1,500 deliveries per year.

Among other accolades, noted as one of the "most wired" companies in the U.S., the clinical data shop provides tremendous capability to enhance practice, provide education, conduct research and drive improvement. The commitment to healthier communities extends to research which encompasses basic science and translational clinical work, much of it pertinent to women's health issues.

Candidates must be M.D./D.O., BC with demonstrated clinical expertise in general OB/GYN and/or sub-specialty and have at least three-five years clinical experience. Minimum eight years in senior management or MBA/MHA with five years as a senior executive leading the Women's Health program of a major health care organization or large group practice, preferably in a comprehensive medical center or integrated health system; eligible for PA licensure.
