Cascade Healthcare (CHC) is a financially strong 3-hospital system with approximately $367 million net revenue (2007) with a variety of joint ventures and corporate subsidiaries, as well as a management agreement with another rural hospital in the region. CHC serves as a regional referral center for more than 230,000 residents in central and eastern Oregon. The flagship hospital, St. Charles Medical Center, has been named among the best in the nation in heart, cancer, orthopedic and neurosurgical care, and recognized as a Solucient Top 100 Hospitals in 2002 and 2006.
The CFO is a corporate officer and reports directly to the CEO of CHC. The primary focus of the CFO will be to serve as chief financial strategist for the system and chief financial adviser to the Board of Directors and CEO providing them with critical financial expertise in the areas of bond financing, cash and debt management, insurance, third party payer contracting and related areas. The successful candidate must be highly comfortable taking a leadership role in the financial management of a complex system.
