Witt/Kieffer has been retained by Children's Hospital and Health System (CHHS), of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to assist in their search for a new President and Chief Executive Officer.
Children's Hospital of Wisconsin (CHW) is the flagship of CHHS and is a private, independent, not-for-profit, pediatric medical center whose mission is to be one of the nation's premier pediatric hospitals. CHW operates the only Level I Trauma Center in the region that cares exclusively for children. CHW is approximately six miles west of downtown Milwaukee, on the grounds of the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center, and is an affiliate of the adjacent Medical College of Wisconsin. CHW has developed a regional services approach and operate two inpatient facilities located in Kenosha and Neenah. The system serves children from Wisconsin, the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, northern Illinois and beyond.
The President/CEO position requires a high level of visionary leadership to assure the ongoing success of the organization. The CEO must provide the necessary leadership to assure that CHW continues to distinguish itself as a symbol of excellence in the provision of children's healthcare services. The CEO will orchestrate the combined efforts of medical staff, senior leadership and the Board, to support, protect and enhance the CHW mission and vision for the benefit of the region served. We are seeking a seasoned and successful leader with substantial experience as a senior executive of a complex integrated healthcare delivery system. Experience in a system with a significant pediatric service is preferred, but not required.
