CNO - Brooklyn, NY - Maimonides Medical Center was recently ranked by HealthGrades among the top 5% of US hospitals for stroke, cardiology and critical care services, #1 in New York State for cardiology, and excellence in pulmonary services. This 700+bed tertiary care teaching facility has served as the pre-eminent academic medical center - providing high quality, compassionate patient care and community services to people of all faiths and diverse backgrounds. Following a successful, long-tenured CNO at this financially stable organization, the new executive will have an opportunity to advance nursing towards the attainment of Magnet status, further integrate the care team from collegiality to true interdisciplinary collaboration and build a cadre of next generation nurse leaders. Candidate education will meet Magnet criteria, with a preference for those holding doctoral degrees. Essential would be significant prior executive experience, operational skills and the personal characteristics for success in a large, urban, culturally complex, fast-paced environment.
