The Brooklyn Hospital Center (TBHC), a member of the New York-Presbyterian Healthcare System and affiliate of the Weill School of Medicine of Cornell University, is a prestigious 483 bed teaching hospital dedicated to providing outstanding patient care since its inception in 1845. TBHC is currently engaged in the process of reorganization after filing voluntary petitions under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code in 2005.
