Witt/Kieffer has been retained by Ascension Health, the nation's largest nonprofit health system, to recruit a Vice President, Physician Affairs and Clinician Integration. The Vice President will work directly with the system administrative leadership and clinical leadership throughout the country to advance Ascension Health's clinical excellence goals and strategies. The Vice President will have the ability to significantly influence and develop new models of healthcare delivery within the system. Reporting to Dr. Jose Santiago, Senior Vice President of Clinical Excellence, the Vice President will integrate clinician service line teams composed of physicians, nurses, pharmacists, therapists, and other care providers throughout the system to enhance the quality and efficiency of care as well as the patient experience. Additionally, the Vice President will provide leadership in the conceptualization, development, and measurement of the service line clinical team approaches to quality and patient safety. The Vice President also will develop a perspective on regional market-based strategic opportunities and manage key strategic initiatives for Ascension Health and its Health Ministries.
