All Children's Health System (ACHS) in St. Petersburg, Florida seeks applications for the position of Vice President of Finance/Chief Financial Officer (CFO). A leading center for pediatric treatment, education, advocacy and research, providing specialized care from newborns through teens, All Children Hospital (216 beds) is the only freestanding children's hospital on Florida's west coast and one of only two in the state of Florida. Research and education affiliations with the University of South Florida and H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute, contribute to ACH's position as a regional pediatric referral center. The Hospital is consistently ranked among America's top 25 children's hospitals in comparative studies done by Child Magazine.
Completion of a new 259-bed replacement hospital is imminent, and a move-in date is scheduled for December 2009. This $400 million replacement facility includes 1,100,000 square feet of space dedicated to state-of-the-art pediatric healthcare.
The CFO has a primary reporting relationship to Arnold Stenberg, Executive Vice President/Chief Administrative Officer and a secondary reporting to Gary Carnes, President and Chief Executive Officer for All Children's Health System (ACHS). She/he is responsible for the financial activities of the health system related to accounting and financial operations. As the Vice President of Finance/Chief Financial Officer for All Children's Health System, this executive is a member of the hospitals' senior executive team and plays a key role in the operational and strategic leadership.
