Margaret R. Pardee Memorial Hospital has engaged Witt Kieffer to assist them in the recruitment of a Vice President Medical Affairs / CMO, a newly created position. Located in a very desirable retirement community of western North Carolina, Pardee Hospital is a progressive 222 bed hospital with 238 physicians on the medical staff. The VPMA/CMO will carry a variety of physician leadership duties and work closely with the CEO in the development and implementation of strategies related to new program development, market growth, and physician integration.
The ideal candidate must have practical experience, a successful track record in a leadership position, as well as experience with employed physicians. Appropriate board certification is required as well as an interest in practicing clinically approximately 5-10% time. A graduate degree in health administration, business/finance is desirable.
