Witt/Kieffer has been retained to identify and evaluate candidates for the position of Director, Clinical Applications at Lancaster General Health located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

The Director, Clinical Applications is a newly created position and an enterprise level function, reporting to the Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer of Lancaster General Health. The Director will be responsible for leading and managing the development and implementation of Epic clinical systems and providing overall direction for this high-profile information system transformation project. Specifically, the Director will manage the clinical applications department and will oversee all activities related to the implementation of the Epic inpatient clinical systems. In addition, the Director will be responsible for maintenance and support of the existing legacy clinical systems.
A bachelor's degree or approved equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Lancaster General Health seeks a seasoned IT professional with a strong track record in the implementation of major clinical systems within a complex and dynamic hospital setting. Experience implementing advanced clinical systems, including CPOE, is preferred. PMP certification and working knowledge of and experience with Epic is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will have the ability to effectively manage an IT department, build strong, collaborative relationships within the Epic project team and across the organization, and lead the successful implementation of the Epic inpatient clinical systems.
