Memorial Health System has 4,300 employees and operates two hospitals as well as a children's hospital. Memorial Hospital Central is licensed for 616 beds and includes the Memorial Hospital for Children, in partnership with The Children's Hospital (based in Denver). Memorial Hospital North opened in 2007 and is licensed for 98 beds. The system also operates more than a dozen outpatient facilities throughout the community. Memorial has received many accolades to include recognition as #1 Heart Program in Colorado and Top 5% in the nation by Health Grades in 2008.
The Vice President will lead the development of physician infrastructure support and practice management capacity as well as have primary responsibility for the management of the integrated physicians for the system. Candidates should have at least seven years of progressively responsible experience running a multi-specialty medical group, preferably in an integrated delivery system environment.
