Witt/Kieffer has been retained to identify and evaluate candidates for the position of Project Management Office (PMO) Director for Adventist Health System Information Services (AHSIS) in Lake Mary, Florida.

Adventist Health System is the largest not-for-profit Protestant healthcare provider in the nation. Today, Adventist Health System organizations include 36 hospitals totaling more than 6,000 licensed beds, care for nearly 4 million patients each year in inpatient, outpatient and emergency room visits, and employ almost 43,000 members of their communities in full and part-time positions. Although Florida Hospital, the system's flagship hospital, has its own IT organization, AHSIS provides centralized IT support for the remaining 26 regional hospitals located throughout the Southeast, Southwest, and Midwest.

The AHSIS PMO Director reports to the Vice President, Business Systems and Interoperability and will be responsible to the AHIS executive team for providing overall strategic leadership and operational management of all project activity affecting AHIS operations. This position is highly visible and critical to the goal of improving system-wide customer satisfaction and accountability regarding AHIS systems implementations and upgrades, IT-related process improvement, and IT product development activities.

A bachelor's degree is required, as is PMP certification, and a master's degree is preferred. AHSIS seeks a seasoned leader with at least seven years experience in healthcare information technology leadership positions; project management in a multi-hospital/integrated delivery system environment is preferred. Experience developing and managing a healthcare PMO is essential.
