The Chancellor and the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia seek an inspirational, visionary, servant leader as the next president of the College of Coastal Georgia (CCGA). CCGA’s next president will be an energetic and creative leader who will build upon the college’s remarkable success and embrace bold new opportunities for the future.

The College seeks a proven, successful leader with a deep understanding of and familiarity with higher education; a record of achievement in leading and managing growth and change in a complex organization; knowledge of contemporary best practices in strategic planning and data-based decision making; a collaborative approach to leadership; a deep abiding interest in student success and academic excellence; a proven ability to lead the college’s fundraising efforts; and the skills to develop productive relationships with all members of CCGA’s community. The successful candidate will be a bold and inspiring leader who can engage the community in further developing and executing a clear, contemporary and distinctive vision for CCGA that serves the region and sustains the College on the path to a successful future while simultaneously managing the College within its financial model. As leader, the president will be available, engaged and invested in an environment that values teaching and supports faculty in the pursuit of academic excellence while also recognizing opportunities for growth and investment.

CCGA seeks a strong collaborator who will foster a culture of trust, positivity and respect with a strong desire to build upon key elements of the CCGA’s history and adapt and change where appropriate to meet emerging challenges. The College seeks a leader who inspires excitement about the institution, connects and engages meaningfully across multiple constituencies, is committed to shared governance, and embodies an unwavering dedication to students and their success. A terminal degree is required.

CCGA is an undergraduate, public institution of higher education and is part of the 28-institution University System of Georgia. Located on the southeast Atlantic coast in Brunswick, midway between Savannah and Jacksonville, Florida, the College provides an affordable and interactive education in the natural beauty and abundant sunshine of Georgia’s Golden Isles, an area noted for world-class golf courses and resorts as well as amazing diversity of maritime habitats, wildlife and sea creatures.
