A major contributor to Corning’s long-term success has been the caliber of its senior leaders. Ensuring personalized, patient-centric care and health system navigation for those key executives and their families, especially in emergent situations and where specialty care is required, would be primary to this role. Additional focus areas would include, improving healthcare delivery systems in Corning’s population centers and ensuring that the care delivered is evidence-based and at the highest level of quality and service. Candidates will need to combine the ability to provide informed decision making and care facilitation, in a concierge manner, for this family of key individuals, with the larger corporate mission of ensuring the ongoing health and well being of the entire workforce

The position is a direct report into the Director, Benefits and Integrated Health. The Health Services team includes two nursing colleagues who report into this role. This team works with a matrix of medical staff associated with facilities around the globe.  This executive interfaces with, and provides input to, many on the Corning senior team, including Global Security, Human Resources, Global Compensation and Benefits and the CEO’s Chief of Staff.

Successful candidates will have: MD or DO credential from an accredited medical school of solid reputation; Completion of an accredited residency with current board certification. Preference for internal or family medicine; Additional training in occupational or environmental medicine is a plus; Fluency in performance improvement techniques such as LEAN and Six Sigma preferable; Licensed or able to gain licensure in New York; Understands health plans and their clinical programs. Additional Desired Qualifications: Experience in a corporate setting; Development/leadership of employee health and wellness initiatives; Fluency in global health as applicable to international travel safety and security, pandemic preparedness, etc.; Data-driven, uses information to determine actionable issues and performance drivers; Vendor/contract administration; Population Health; impact drivers, change management, programmatic development.
