Witt/Kieffer has been retained by HCA to conduct the search for a dynamic, innovative executive to serve as the next Vice President of Marketing for their East Florida Division.  This is a unique opportunity at one of the most respected healthcare institutions in the U.S.
Based in Fort Lauderdale, the HCA East Florida Division encompasses 14 affiliated hospitals spanning South Florida, from the Treasure Coast to South Dade County, in addition to multiple ambulatory surgery centers and imaging centers, four free-standing emergency care facilities, a supply chain center and an integrated regional laboratory. Together the network employs more than 16,500 individuals and more than 6,000 physicians on staff. Patient and physician satisfaction surveys consistently prove that the HCA-affiliated East Florida hospitals are recognized leaders in the delivery of quality healthcare.

The 14 HCA East Florida affiliate hospitals provided in excess of $300 million in care to the neediest without any compensation. In addition, it has implemented a comprehensive charitable care policy that provides financial relief to more charity patients and needs-based discounts to uninsured patients.

This Vice President will report directly to the Division President and will be joining a collegial team of executives committed to enhancing patient care and experience in the communities served by HCA East Florida.  The VP will drive transformational marketing activities by guiding HCA East Florida’s brand, vision and strategy. The VP will be instrumental in the continued growth, development and promotion of new service lines, as well as enhancing the marketability of existing and future services.  This individual will act as a liaison for HCA East Florida Division within the community and government as the organization develops new relationships within the market.

We seek candidates who have a progressive and successful track record combined with experience working within a highly competitive and diverse market. He/she will have demonstrated success growing brand recognition through all media forms. The expectation is that this VP will have had prior success building and maintaining an external presence for the organizations they have served in complex and innovative organizations.
This position does NOT require experience working within the healthcare industry.
