Job Description

Allina Health, a fully integrated, 12-hospital health system headquartered in Minneapolis, MN, seeks a strategic and dynamic healthcare leader to serve as its next Vice President, Safety, Quality, and Accreditation (VP). This is an outstanding opportunity for a leader who is passionate about enriching the quality and safety of patient care throughout the System.

In this newly evolved system role, the VP will accept a challenging but rewarding charge to elevate awareness, engagement and discipline in the strategy and execution of safety, quality and accreditation across Allina Health. With strong system support and commitment, this Vice President is charged with engaging, motivating and empowering colleagues and clinicians to enhance safety and quality, advance outcomes and drive performance excellence. She/he will partner with System and field leadership to develop, deploy and communicate a strategic, sustainable approach to quality and safety. This executive will assess and develop the infrastructure, processes and supporting systems to ensure a consistent, system approach to the measurement and achievement of quality objectives, engaging the collective organization in a renewed passion and focus on achieving outcomes and quality measures.

The successful candidate will be a transformational leader and expert facilitator who can motivate and engage diverse stakeholders to action. A demonstrated track record of successful influence and relational skills will be critical. All candidates with strong quality and safety experience will be considered with a strong preference for a clinician.
