Anissa Low is a managing director of WittKieffer with oversight of operations in Southeast Asia. Leveraging nearly 15 years of executive search experience in the Asian marketplace and beyond, she supports clients in the life sciences, healthcare and academia in taking comprehensive, strategic approaches to securing executive talent. She has particular expertise in working with startups and turnkey projects to identify leaders who thrive in challenging, high-risk environments.
Anissa has built her career recruiting executives across various functions and industries, with special depth in healthcare and the life sciences. Most recently, she was the director for Healthcare & Life Sciences, Consumer & Industrial for a leading global executive recruiting firm. Based in Singapore, she built and led a team that partnered with some of the most progressive firms operating in Asia.
Prior to that, she held several executive recruiting roles in which she provided end-to-end service to clients, including the development of position specifications, competency- and behavior-based interviewing, candidate presentation, reference checking and salary negotiation. She excelled at developing a strong rapport with her clientele to ensure excellent service and outcomes.
Anissa began her career as a primary school teacher before transitioning into executive search. She is currently Council Secretary and Treasurer, Asia Pacific and the Middle East, for AESC, the standards-setting body for the executive search industry.
