Elizabeth (Beth) Frye, M.D., F.A.C.P., possesses a unique combination of proven operational and performance improvement skills, anchored by more than 20 years of physician leadership experience in both academic medicine and community hospitals. As Chief of Operations, she is responsible for executing WittKieffer’s strategic plans while maintaining a focus on and serving key clients. Beth’s search practice underscores her passion for integrating physicians into leadership roles of hospitals, health systems and group practices as well as advanced collaboratives between providers, payers and community organizations. Beth is a trusted advisor for both the clients she serves and the candidates with whom she engages.
As the former senior vice president and medical director of ambulatory services at Loyola University Health System (LUHS) in Maywood, IL, Beth served as a member of the LUHS executive team and was responsible for operations for the system’s large multispecialty and primary care physician practices. She also was responsible for the employed primary care physician network, and provided consultative services on medical staff realignment opportunities to community hospitals in the greater Chicago area. During her time in academic medicine, Beth played integral roles in undergraduate and graduate medical education. She was the Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency at LUHS and chaired one of the subcommittees for the Stritch School of Medicine on undergraduate medical education curricular redesign.
Beth completed her post-graduate training at the University of California in Irvine where she was Chief Resident and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is also a Fellow in the American College of Physicians.
