Kimberly Höglund, chief knowledge officer, is based in the firm’s headquarters in Oak Brook, IL and has 20 years of experience working within professional services firms. As WittKieffer’s first chief knowledge officer, Kim ensures that the firm’s research, database management and information systems are integrated and optimized to support executive search work and client needs. Her approach to enhancing operations blends process improvement, technology enablement, business partner engagement and organizational change management. Prior to joining WittKieffer, Kim served as senior manager at Centric Consulting, a privately-held strategy, process and technology consulting firm in Chicago. In this role, she led a variety of consulting engagements focused on process analysis and improvement, needs assessment and technology development for clients across a number of industries, including a private healthcare firm and a higher education institution. While at Centric, Kim also participated in and/or led business development, recruiting and practice management activities. Earlier in her career, Kim served as group manager of applications for an international executive search firm where her major focus was aligning the application development/management function with global business goals. She also spent 12 years with Hewitt Associates in various roles, eventually serving as group manager of business service management engineering. Kim currently serves as secretary of a small not-for-profit theater board in Evanston, IL.
