Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies is seeking a dynamic nursing leader to serve as its Administrator, Patient Care (Assistant Chief Nursing Officer).
This award winning 285-bed facility is home to 30 labor and delivery rooms, a high-risk maternity unit, and one of the largest Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU) in the nation. The hospital also includes the Hughes Fetal Diagnostic Center, which offers ultrasound, targeted sonogram, diabetic and nutrition counseling, genetic counseling and fetal echocardiogram. Annually, more than 14,500 babies are born at Winnie Palmer Hospital, making it the busiest labor and delivery unit in the state of Florida and one of the busiest in the nation.

The Administrator, Patient Care at Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies will report to the Chief Nursing Officer and will oversee Labor & Delivery OR & PACU, Antepartum/Wound Management, Mother Baby units and the Maternal ED. This leader will monitor quality and budgeting standards, work to achieve hospital and corporate goals and serve as a key member of planning committees focused on patient care.
- Six years of experience in patient care management including nursing management is required.
- Experience in managing clinical services in a managed care environment, including productivity enhancement, cost reduction, new program development, and quality management is also required.
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with Graduate degree in Business or health-related field is required.
