International OCD Foundation - Executive Director

WittKieffer is proud to partner with the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF), leading their national search for a dedicated leader to serve as their next Executive Director. This is an exciting opportunity for a mission-driven individual to substantially impact the lives of those affected by obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), work closely with the Chair and Board of Directors to shape and execute the organization’s vision, and develop comprehensive strategic plans for the IOCDF.

Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will manage multiple programs within a $5+ million nonprofit organization. Additionally, the Executive Director will mentor and coach a diverse team of individuals who are dedicated to IOCDF’s mission and guide the IOCDF’s growth and impact. Founded in 1986 as a donor-supported nonprofit organization, the IOCDF is committed to improving outcomes for individuals with OCD and related disorders. The organization has accomplished this by providing crucial resources, support, and educational programs. The IOCDF stands out for its emphasis on collaboration and inclusivity, valuing the involvement of individuals with lived experiences, as well as researchers, practitioners, and advocates focused on OCD.

The next Executive Director should have a visionary mindset, strong strategic planning abilities, and expertise in mental health. Compassion and understanding are essential for connecting with individuals affected by OCD and fostering inclusivity within the community, allowing the organization to fulfill its mission and positively impact those affected by OCD and related disorders.

The ideal candidate for this IOCDF leadership role should have a bachelor’s degree, extensive fundraising experience, and at least ten years of relevant professional expertise. They should also demonstrate a strong commitment to mental health, as well as a commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). Additionally, experience in growing and running nonprofits of similar scale and scope will be valued.
