The Center for Care Innovations (CCI) has engaged WittKieffer to assist in the recruitment of a dynamic and innovative executive to serve as its next President. This is an exciting opportunity for a visionary leader to bring one’s experience and passion for strengthening the health and health care of underserved communities.

Headquartered in Oakland, California, CCI is a non-profit organization providing creative, high quality strategic design, implementation and program management for its partner organizations, and has grown to be one of the most respected catalysts of health care innovation in the Western United States. As an intermediary, CCI connects its partners with solutions, resources, and experts to accelerate innovation and strengthen health and health care for vulnerable communities. It offers technical assistance, resources, tools, and coaching to build the skills that health care organizations need to succeed in four areas of strategic focus: Innovation & Design Thinking, Technology Solutions, Population Management, and Community-Centered Care.

The ideal President will have a minimum of 15 years of experience in the non-profit health sector, including at least five years in an executive leadership position. Deep relationships in the field of community health, innovation, healthcare delivery and within the non-profit funding community are key. The ability to cultivate existing and new relationships and funding opportunities with external partners such as health systems, foundations, payors, and other key stakeholders is critical. An understanding of the issues and trends impacting vulnerable populations and experience in the application of design and technology to the problems of health care is essential.
