Marshfield Clinic Health System - Regional Chief Nursing Officer

WI, Marshfield
Healthcare - Nursing

The Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS), widely known for their quality of care throughout central Wisconsin, is growing into a fully integrated health system. Over the past two years, the health system has grown from three to seven acute care hospitals, with additional sites currently under development. Today, MCHS is a $2.4 billion health system comprised of a delivery system and health plan. MCHS has 55 clinical locations, seven hospitals and 1,150 providers. Security Health Plan serves 230,000 members across all 72 Wisconsin counties.

Due to this significant growth, there is a need to identify candidates for a Regional Chief Nursing Officer position to oversee nursing throughout MCHS’ Western Region (acute and ambulatory services). The Regional CNO will also have direct oversight of nursing at the flagship hospital of the Western Division, Marshfield Medical Center – Eau Claire. The ideal candidate for this role will possess a strong and progressive nursing leadership background gained from senior level experience within a health system. In addition to acute care nursing leadership experience, ideal candidates will also have nursing leadership experience overseeing ambulatory sites and/or outpatient care centers.

Marshfield Clinic Health System – Western Division

MCHS’ Western Division is made up of the three high performing markets of Eau Claire, Ladysmith and Rice Lake, all located in Northwestern Wisconsin. The hospitals that anchor the markets are: Marshfield Medical Center – Eau Claire, Marshfield Medical Center – Ladysmith and Marshfield Medical Center – Rice Lake.

Marshfield Medical Center – Eau Claire

Marshfield Medical Center – Eau Claire opened in July 2018 and is a fully integrated 44 bed, “micro-tertiary” hospital that provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient health care to residents in the Chippewa Valley and throughout western Wisconsin.

This is an exciting opportunity offering candidates the opportunity to join a health system with a reputation of providing high quality clinical care. We welcome recommendations and nominations of qualified candidates.
