Since joining WittKieffer in 2005, Amy Crutchfield has developed a reputation for exceptional customer service, a keen eye for detail and a steady approach that guides clients through every phase of the search process. In recognition of her service to clients and candidates, Amy received the firm’s Quality Award in 2015. She is a principal and the deputy director of the firm’s Education Practice and serves on WittKieffer’s firm-wide Quality Committee.
To date, Amy has participated in hundreds of successful search assignments for presidents, provosts, deans and leaders in other administrative units such as advancement, enrollment management, finance and student affairs. She supports engagements for national research universities, comprehensive and liberal arts colleges. As leader of WittKieffer’s Enrollment Practice, a division of the Education Practice, Amy has great depth of understanding of the field and recognizes the critical need for strong enrollment leadership in the current higher education landscape.
Amy has a robust network of candidates and regularly presents at national and regional enrollment conferences. Amy is especially interested in and committed to identifying future leaders in higher education and has participated in panels on the subject. Recognizing the significant need to support women’s leadership in enrollment management, she annually convenes discussion groups aimed at shaping conversations around this topic and encouraging and mentoring the next generation of women enrollment leaders.
