Ashlee Winters Musser (she/her) brings a thoughtful, passionate perspective to her role as senior associate in WittKieffer’s Education Practice. Her expertise in research and recruiting, extensive experience in the public policy arena and educational background in higher education administration make her uniquely qualified to engage candidates at colleges and universities across academia. Ashlee approaches each search with enthusiasm and prioritizes clear communication and responsiveness in her interactions with clients and candidates.
Raised in a small town in Texas, Ashlee believes in the critical importance of access to quality education. She was drawn to executive search as a way to encourage excellence in educational institutions in support of the betterment of communities and society. Among Ashlee’s formative professional experiences are a position as a policy assistant with Georgetown University, including conducting research and coordinating workshops on key institutional policy initiatives. She also held a policy analyst assistant role with the Texas Higher Education Committee, helping to draft higher education policy recommendations for the state legislature. Most recently, Ashlee served as a research associate at a large U.S.-based executive search firm, where she played a key role in candidate identification and recruitment.
Since joining WittKieffer, she has completed the eCornell certificate program in Diversity and Inclusion, which focuses on improving employee engagement, counteracting unconscious bias and fostering an inclusive work climate.
