Jeff Schroetlin (he/him), senior partner, brings more than 20 years of executive search experience serving academic medicine and health sciences institutions, and also serves as Managing Partner and Practice Leader of WittKieffer’s Professional Search Practice. He advises the Professional Search team on identifying healthcare, higher education and not-for-profit leaders across a range of roles. As a key member of WittKieffer’s Academic Medicine and Health Sciences Practice, Jeff has been a contributor to many of the firm’s most visible searches and has earned a reputation for being able to attract high caliber and diverse candidates.

Based in Chicago, Jeff recruits deans, chairs, chiefs, center directors, as well as executives, academic officers, clinician leaders and senior scientists on behalf of leading academic medical centers, research institutes, health professions schools, faculty group practices, children’s hospitals, health sciences universities, public health institutes, medical societies, and medical education organizations. His expertise in how leaders can positively impact the academic, research and clinical missions complements his acute awareness of contemporary leadership needs in academic medicine.
