Imran Ali, M.D., M.B.A., is a WittKieffer Consultant who partners with healthcare organizations to identify and support transformative physician leaders. With the firm for more than a decade, his work spans both academic and community settings, advising and recruiting for roles including department chairs, chief medical officers, medical group presidents, and other key positions.
Imran serves as a strategic counsel to clients, helping them align leadership decisions with their mission and long-term vision. His medical and business school training give him a unique lens into the evolving challenges and opportunities of physician leadership in a shifting marketplace.
Prior to joining WittKieffer, Imran was a Lead Medical Associate with Sports Medicine, Ltd. in Chicago, where he taught medical students and physicians and performed orthopedic procedures on pediatric patients. This followed his medical training at Ross University School of Medicine in New Jersey. He also held previous clinical research roles at the University of Illinois at Chicago and the University of Maryland Medical Center.
A recipient of the WittKieffer Quality Award, Imran embodies the firm’s values and commitment to excellence. He has volunteered with the American Medical Student Association and participated in a mission project providing healthcare to the indigenous Carib Indian population of Dominica.
