Burns brings considerable experience counseling clients in the healthcare industry on their various leadership needs and will offer a unique and nuanced perspective to solving organizations’ strategic talent challenges.
Based in Southern California, Burns will provide his interim service expertise to clients across the U.S., with emphasis on the West Coast and Southwest. In this role, he will leverage more than a decade of expertise in placing interim leaders who offer clients leadership stability, insight and creativity.
“I am thrilled to welcome Adam to WittKieffer and the Interim Leadership Practice, especially because of his commitment to strong, lasting relationships with clients,” said Brian Krehbiel, managing partner and practice leader of WittKieffer’s Interim Leadership Practice. “His proven record of placing interim executives and putting clients first will allow him to fit seamlessly into our practice. His presence will allow our practice to continue to grow to meet clients’ needs.”
Prior to joining WittKieffer, Burns served as division vice president and leader of client partnerships for a national executive search and talent management firm. In this position, he supported healthcare organizations across the U.S. in filling immediate vacancies among leadership, physician and advanced practice roles and also provided recruitment support to fill positions on a permanent basis. Burns also held the role of division vice president for the Western U.S. for the same organization and was focused on delivering interim and permanent leadership solutions to health systems, hospitals, physician groups and post-acute care providers in 10 Western states.
“Adam’s comprehensive leadership background in placing executives in both permanent and interim roles, as well as his vast experience in the healthcare space, make him an excellent addition to our team,” said Andrew Chastain, president and CEO of WittKieffer. “Together with Brian Krehbiel, Adam will enable WittKieffer to grow our interim service offerings and help position clients for a successful future.”
